Maldivian has decided to operate special flights to Thailand's capital, Bangkok, a popular destination among Maldivians, coinciding with this year's December school holidays.

Island Aviation, the company operating Maldivian, stated that coinciding with the upcoming mid-term holiday, these special flights will be held every Tuesday from December 8 to January 19. Those dates are December 8, 15, 22, 29, and January 5, 12, and 19.

With a baggage allowance of 25 kilograms per person, round-trip ticket prices start at USD 530.

Maldivian has previously operated flights to Bangkok during school holiday periods as well. The airline stated that these flights were initiated to provide convenience and accommodate the increased demand for travel to the country by Maldivians during those seasons.
