Payment in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) is now accepted on "Global Ducan", a marketplace that allows Maldivians to shop on popular Indian e-commerce platforms which delivers their purchased items to Maldives.

Global Ducan has stated that MVR purchases from their platform will be made possible from Friday onward.

This arrangement will allow Maldivian customers to stop relying on foreign currency limits and shop conveniently without having to pay additional fees.

Global Ducan marketplace features numerous ecommerce platforms in India including Amazon, Myntra, Nykaa, Flipcart, and Ikea.

One of Global Ducan's standout features is customers being able to place items from various shops into a "unified cart", allowing them to pay for everything simultaneously. 

The items purchased on Global Ducan are brought to Maldivian customers via Maldives Post's logistics network. Customers can shop in Male' and from any island, with the Post Office mailing the products after purchase.

This change will bring about a major convenience for online businesses and personal shoppers from India's extensive market.
