The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has opened opportunities to join the "Peer Review Pool," which reviews and assesses research papers submitted to the MMA Research Conference.

The pool consists of educators and experts from various disciplines.

The primary responsibility of those selected for the pool is to evaluate the technical quality of research papers submitted to the conference and provide independent and academic feedback based on the accuracy of information and the importance of the research topic.

The MMA stated that individuals with experience in various fields can participate in the pool. Specifically, this includes those with technical expertise in fields related to macroeconomics, monetary economics, Islamic finance, public finance, tourism, international trade, digital finance, and other fields relevant to the conference.

Papers submitted to the MMA Research Conference will be reviewed using the "double-blind peer review" principle. This means that the reviewing parties will not know each other's identities.

Applications to become a peer reviewer are to be submitted by filling out the peer review form available on the research conference website. Applications can be submitted until the 27th of this month.

The MMA's third research conference will be held from December 5 to December 7.
