The application window for the MIB Guesthouse Awards 2026, organized by Maldives Islamic Bank, will close tonight. 

The awards are targeted towards promoting local tourism and recognizing exceptional service providers and guesthouses at the island-level, as well as leading islands in the sector. 

A total of 20 awards will be presented under three categories. This includes 16 awards presented to guesthouses under two tiers, three individual awards to tourism sector service providers, and the Guesthouse Tourism Champion Island Award. 

The MIB Guesthouse Awards are endorsed by the Guesthouse Association of Maldives. Evaluation work for the awards are undertaken by Crowe Maldives.
