The Bank of Maldives (BML) has participated in a coral restoration program at Niva Kurumba Maldives in support of sustainable protection and marine ecosystem conservation efforts.
BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, senior officials, staff and tourists on holiday at Niva Kurumba Maldives took part in the activity, and aided in the revival of the resort's reefs with coral restoration (coral planting/gardening).
Niva Kurumba Maldives continues to provide practical opportunities to locals by participating in coral restoration efforts and marine protection.
BML has previously participated in coral restoration efforts across various parts of Maldives and in providing aid. This includes the project run by the "Vaadhoo Association for Future Development" in GDh. Vaadhoo and the "Muraka Farm Initiative" at B. Dharavandhoo.
