Kadhdhoo Airport Company posted a loss of MVR 29.5 million by the end of 2025, with their total losses coming to MVR 325 million including last year's.

As per the audit report that was published by the Audit Office, Kadhdhoo Airport Company made MVR 11 million in revenue in 2025. However, their expenses had gone up to MVR 38.7 million.

Their total losses over the years have accumulated to MVR 325 million.

The audit reads that the company's total assets are at MVR 56 million.

Last year, the government awarded Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) the project to develop L. Kadhdhoo Airport to international standards. The government has decided to construct a 2.5 kilometer runway by the time the airport is developed.

Kadhdhoo Airport is used as a domestic airport and for military operation purposes.

The audit report states the board of directors of Kahdhoo Airport decided to transfer all assets under RAC on 20th April 2026.
