Tree Top Hospital has introduced an opportunity to apply for a Nursing Scholarship Program in order to aid Maldivian students who want to progress in the health industry.
The opportunity is presented to those who enroll in the September intake.
The program was initially introduced in 2021, with the nursing scholarship having been presented to 23 individuals since then.
Tree Top Hospital stated that under the program, there are currently 12 nurses who are serving the hospital that have completed training and education under the program. The hospital said that the program has been a significant boost to building up capable Maldivian nurses.
Scholarship categories and requirements:
The scholarship for 2026 is being offered at Villa College under two programs, which are the BSc (Honors) Nursing (International) Top-Up and a three-year Diploma in Nursing. The hospital said that only Maldivian citizens can apply.
