Under its corporate social responsibility initiatives, MPL has built a row of public bathrooms at Rasfannu Beach and handed them over to the Housing Ministry. 

The completed bathrooms were officially handed over by MPL Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Mueen at a ceremony held at Rasfannu Beach yesterday. State Minister Ismail Hameed accepted on behalf of the ministry. 

The bathroom stalls were designed by staff of MPL's Project Department, and it was built by staff from the Facility Department. 

MPL said the stalls include two toilets and a shower area, with accessible facilities for wheelchair users and others with disabilities. 

MPS has carried out a range of other social initiatives previously as well under its CSR policy.
