Neurosurgery consultation services have been introduced at Treetop Hospital’s TTH Clinic in Male'.

Treetop Hospital said the service was launched to provide easier access to specialist care for people experiencing neurological conditions and related health issues.

The consultations will be conducted by consultant super-specialist neurosurgeon Dr Ali Afee, who specializes in brain, spinal and neurological disorders.

According to Treetop, Dr Afee has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a range of brain and spinal cord conditions. He will provide consultations for conditions including spinal disc problems, chronic back and neck pain linked to nerve issues, brain fluid disorders and other neurological conditions.

He will also treat patients with brain and spinal cord injuries, severe head or spinal injuries and other nervous system disorders.

Neurosurgery consultations will be available every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm.

TTH Clinic Malé is located at Ma. Champa Villa, Buruzu Magu. The clinic was established to bring Treetop Hospital’s healthcare services closer to residents of Male' and is continuing to expand its specialist services as part of efforts to improve access to quality healthcare.
