As part of the Bank of Maldives' (BML) efforts in providing banking services to people living in all parts of Maldives, services at an additional 7 branches have begun, expanding banking network.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the branches that began service at the opening ceremony of the "Youth Entrepreneurs Expo" held at Barceló Nasandhura.
The islands where branches opened are HA. Hoarafushi, Sh. Kanditheemu, R. Alifushi, Lh. Hinnavaru, ADh. Maamigili, GA. Gemanafushi and L. Maavah.
With these branches, BML currently manages a total of 55 branches across 20 atolls in Maldives. 17 of those branches were opened within the last two years.
While speaking at the ceremony, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef said the bank invests in expanding banking services in society. He also said the financial progress the bank receives gives them the opportunity to provide banking services to all Maldivians. The bank stated it will provide easier access to financial services required by individuals and businesses, and is something that will facilitate their growth.
BML's banking view includes 55 branches across 20 atolls, 340 ATM's and modern digital banking resources.
