Allied Insurance and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) have signed an agreement to collaborate for the progress of Maldives' accounting industry.

The signing ceremony was held at the Allied Insurance office. Chief Financial Officer of Allied Insurance Adam Athif signed on behalf of the company, with CA Maldives President Mohamed Haleem Abdulla signing on behalf of the company.

Under the agreement, Allied Insurance staff who meet the requirements will be encouraged to become members of CA Maldives. Various programs such as research into the Maldivian market and increasing capacity will be conducted by both institutions cooperatively.

Allied Insurance stated that both institutions will collaborate in research development into the accounting industry, information and skills exchange between the two institutions and industry research will be conducted.

Under the agreement signed between the institutions, CA Maldives members will receive special benefits as well. This includes special prices for CA Maldives members from Allied Takaful regarding the "Professional Indemnity Takaful" insurance in obtaining their license. CA Maldives members and permanent staff will receive "Group Term Life Takaful" insurance under special regulations.

Allied highlighted that the agreement will serve as an opportunity in further progressing Maldives' accounting industry with Allied Insurance.
