Bank of Maldives and Mastercard have jointly launched a special promotion offering a total cash prize of MVR 100,000.

Customers newly applying for a BML Mastercard Debit card can participate in this promotion. To enter the promotion, customers must conduct a minimum transaction of MVR 200 using a Mastercard through BML POS terminals or the BML Payment Gateway.

BML stated that customers who conduct a higher number of financial transactions can increase their chances of participating in the lucky draw. In that regard, spending MVR 1,000 per week will earn one additional entry. BML also noted that spending MVR 5,000 within a month will yield an extra entry as well.

The promotion will continue until the end of next August. Once this promotion concludes, 10 lucky winners selected by draw will each have a cash prize of MVR 10,000 deposited into their BML accounts.

BML Mastercard Debit card is a card that customers can use to easily conduct financial transactions and withdraw cash. In that regard, using the card within the Maldives allows withdrawals of up to MVR 25,000 per day from MVR accounts, and up to USD 1,600 (more than MVR 24,000) from US Dollar accounts.
