The Maldives Financial Expo organizer, MMA, has announced that a surprise grand prize of MVR 50,000 can be won by attending the expo.

The expo, which began last Thursday, will continue until 10:00 tonight.

Previously, the grand prize was set as an MVR 25,000 prize.

Five iPads are being given away as prizes on each day of the expo. Additionally, seven MVR 5,000 commemorative bank notes have been given away each day. Furthermore, two MacBooks, two Apple AirPods, as well as a three-night full-board package for two people at a guesthouse will be available through the expo.

In addition to these prizes, three MVR 5,000 gift cards, twelve MVR 1,000 gift cards, and thirty-six MVR 500 gift cards will also be available to those who attend the expo.

These prizes are awarded through lucky draws taken among the visitors to the expo.

The expo is underway along with an evening special for children and a food festival. A fireworks display is also scheduled for tonight at 10:00.

Thirty-eight participants from the financial sector are taking part in the Financial Expo. The central bank, MMA, stated that the purpose of the expo is to connect the public with banks, insurance companies, regulatory bodies, higher education providers, as well as relevant state institutions, and to showcase financial literacy and new innovations.
