The first floor of STO People's Choice has been brought into use.

Economic Minister, Mohamed Saeed, opened this floor during a special ceremony held at the store the night before last. During the ceremony, products from the famous Chinese brand Sunmi were also introduced.

The first floor of STO People's Choice is dedicated to home improvement equipment as well as home decor items required for interior decoration. The area also includes an outlet for Procure Plus and Peekaboo, alongside a display zone for Rainbow Home Improvement.

STO stated that an outlet of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which is popular among Maldivians, is also scheduled to open very soon on the first floor of People's Choice.

The newly opened floor at STO People's Choice features various products from popular brands currently sold at the establishment, including Philips, Russell Hobbs, LG TV, and Dyson.

A kids' corner has also been set up on this floor specifically for people who go shopping with young children to keep them occupied. This floor is now open for the public to shop.

STO People's Choice is the first store to introduce the supermarket concept to the Maldives. Opened in 1991, the store was converted into a hypermarket concept in 2022. Items ranging from foodstuff to home improvement equipment and cosmetics are available at the establishment.
