Villa International High School (VIHS) has increased their student slots and has extended their form submission deadline.
The school decided to increase slots upon student requests.
The subjects were slots increased are as follows:
- Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics: One Class - 25 slots per subject
- Business, Economics, Accounting: One Class - 25 slots per subject
- Pearson Diploma in Business - 10 slots
- Pearson Diploma in Hospitality - 10 slots
- Pearson Diploma in Engineering - 10 slots
- Pearson Diploma in Applied Science - 10 slots
- Travel and Tourism - 20 slots
- Digital Media and Design - 5 slots
- Computer Science - 11 slots
- Information Technology - 3 slots
VIHS stated that they will add on student slots for additional subjects as more slots become available.
As slots have increased at VIHS, the school has announced scholarship opportunities as well.
- Qasim Ibrahim Scholarship for Excellence: O' Level students who place 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the exam this year will receive free education from VIHS under this scholarship.
- Brilliance Student Scholarship: After looking at their academic results, students will receive concessions for their tuition fee based on established criteria under this scholarship.
- Sports Scholarship: Students who have commendable achievements in the field of sports will receive concessions for their tuition fee under this scholarship.
The main purpose of the scholarships is to acknowledge the efforts of skilled and active students, and to provide aid in their educational journey, as was said by VIHS. The school also said that it is meant to identify their capabilities and as an opportunity to provide a brighter future for them.
To apply for a scholarship, students will need to have their O' Level results, update their application for a second time and choose the scholarship they are eligible for.
