Ooredoo mFaisaa has introduced a new “Eid Hadhiyaa” digital gifting service aimed at making it easier for users to send monetary gifts to family and friends across the Maldives during Eid.

The feature allows customers to transfer funds instantly through the mFaisaa mobile wallet, offering what the company describes as a secure and convenient way to share Eid greetings and gifts.

The service is intended to strengthen connections between families and friends by enabling users to send gifts anytime and from anywhere.

The launch forms part of Ooredoo Maldives’ broader push to expand its fintech offerings and encourage greater use of digital financial services.

The company said the feature reflects the spirit of generosity and togetherness associated with Eid, while also leveraging the accessibility of mobile technology.

Customers can send an Eid Hadhiyaa through the mFaisaa app by selecting the dedicated banner, choosing or customizing a gift amount, adding a message, entering the recipient’s mobile wallet number and confirming the transaction via OTP verification.

The service is available to all registered mFaisaa users, with recipients receiving funds instantly into their wallets.
