Yoosuf Waheed has been dismissed from the Board of Directors of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

Even though the dismissal has been confirmed by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), it is unclear as to why Waheed was dismissed.

HA. Vashafaru, Boduge, Yoosuf Waheed was appointed to the HDC's board in September 2024.

Yoosuf Waheed, who currently holds the position of Chief Internal Auditor of the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC), was previously a member of STELCO's Board of Directors as well. 

He holds a Masters of Professional Accounting and Finance from the University of South Australia and also holds a degree in finance.
