STO Healthcare has launched a range of pharmaceutical products from global pharmaceutical producer Bayer in Maldives.

The launch was accompanied by a training programme for healthcare professionals, attended by senior health officials, local and international experts.

The event focused on introducing new treatment approaches and facilitating knowledge exchange on advances in areas including cardiovascular and kidney disease, endocrinology, internal medicine and women’s health.

STO said the newly introduced treatments are based on scientific research and are widely used in leading healthcare systems, with proven outcomes in improving patient care.

The products have been registered with the Maldives Food and Drug Authority before being made available in the country.
