EyeCare Hospital has conducted an eye screening program specifically for students of the Care Society.
The program set out to make arrangements in convenient identification of eye health and is part of EyeCare's work in raising awareness regarding eye health. The program took place at the Care Society, where around 50 individuals had their eyes checked, which included children and adults with special needs.
EyeCare stated that the purpose of the program is to identify issues with sight ahead of time and to give recommendations regarding keeping eyes in good health. Doctors from EyeCare conducted baseline sight tests and advised those who need additional treatment on how to proceed.
EyeCare also stated that offering eye screening services in a convenient manner to those who are living across Maldivian society is an important part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). They went on to say that they will continue to offer quality eye treatment services to everyone, and offer eligible recommendations and lessons to those who need it.
EyeCare said that they will continue to provide awareness in regards to eye health and the importance of getting regular eye checkups as part of their CSR initiatives in a sustainable manner.
