Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has stated that the upgrade to the latest version of their mobile application, FaisaMobile X, will see more convenience in conducting digital transactions.

MIB said that FaisaMobile X is an upgraded version of their previous application, FaisaMobile. MIB also said that even though most customers have upgraded to the application, some customers still have not gone through with the upgrade and that there will be added conveniences upon upgrading to that version.

This modernized application includes all of the features from Faisanet, MIB's online banking service. The application allows customers to easily manage all of their accounts from one platform.

FaisaMobile X provides multi-profile access. The application allows seamless switching between personal and business accounts. MIB stated that it is an important feature for customers in making the management of financial matters much easier.

While modern card management features are included in the application, it also allows instantaneous activation, blocking or changing of MIB card pins. Along with that, the activation of the authenticator instead of using an SMS to access FaisaMobile X is a much safer option.

Customers can easily register for the application by themselves. Using biometrics instead of passwords, such as facial recognition, will also allow access to the application. Customization of features via the quick access section of the application home screen is also available for customers. The application's "Quick Transfer" feature will also allow customers to quickly and conveniently transfer funds to accounts they do not have saved on the application.

The application also includes many of the corporate features included in Faisanet.

MIB has described the application as convenient, modern and actively safe for customer usage. The bank also said that the application will always be updated, with it being upgraded with new features. MIB went on to say that the digital banking experience can be further improved with the upgrade to the FaisaMobile X application.
