The second event of the "Gudi Fest", held annually by Dhiraagu during the month of Ramadan, will take place in Hulhumalé this afternoon.
The event will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dhiraagu Beach, located in the area entering Hulhumalé Phase 2.
Children of all ages can participate in this activity, and Dhiraagu will gift kites to the participants of Gudi Fest.
The first event of the Gudi Fest, which Dhiraagu holds every year to revive the tradition of kite flying that takes place every Ramadan afternoon in the Maldives, was held last Friday at the Usfasgandhu area in Malé. It was an activity that saw many participants and received a warm reception.
"Gudi Fest" is an activity started by Dhiraagu in 2023 to revive the long-standing custom of kite flying in the Maldives during Ramadan.
Under this initiative, the company holds the "Gudi Fest" in various islands in addition to Malé every year. This year as well, the activity is scheduled to be held in different islands.
Dhiraagu is conducting various such activities specifically for this Ramadan. In this regard, various special offers for Ramadan are being run, and activities are also being conducted to encourage charity and revive the culture of helping one another, allowing assistance to be provided to various parties through Dhiraagu Pay.
