Dhiraagu has received the 'Fastest 5G Network', 'Best 5G Network', and 'Best 5G Gaming Experience' awards from Ookla Speedtest for Q1-Q2 2025.
These awards were presented to Dhiraagu at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, which is the world's largest event in the telecommunications sector.
Dhiraagu stated that this achievement reflects their efforts to provide world-class services and their work toward building a digital Maldives.
In this regard, the company noted that in 2019, Dhiraagu was the first service provider to introduce 5G services in South Asia and the Maldives. Dhiraagu has also extended its 5G network to 73 percent of the Maldivian population.
Dhiraagu has previously got awared the 'Maldives Fastest Mobile Network' award from Ookla for three consecutive years, the 'Fastest 5G Network' for two years, and has maintained the position of the fastest network in the Maldives.
Dhiraagu continues to provide the latest services at a global standard to empower customers while remaining in step with technological advancements.
