Ooredoo has launched a social media campaign titled "Ooredoo Karaa Moments".
"Karaa" is the Dhivehi name for watermelon, a popular fruit across Maldives, especially during the month of Ramadan.
Under this campaign, social media users can share photos and videos under a watermelon theme, and stand to win prizes every week.
To participate in the campaign, tag #OoredooKaraaMoments in your posts.
The posts could include snaps of objects like water-melon themed phone covers, a person eating watermelon, screenshots of Ooredoo's 'Karaa Felhun' (Slice a Watermelon) game... the possibilities are endless.
A lucky winner each week will receive a special gift pack from Sosun Fihaara.
The social media challenge, to be held until the end of Ramadan, seeks to strengthen community connections through digital resources, and to share happy moments together, Ooredoo said.
