Prices of onions and potatoes at STO have been lowered effective today.
STO said that with the changes brought into effect today, a kilogram on onion, previously priced at MVR 12, will now be available for MVR 10. The price of a sack on onions has been decreased from MVR 250 to MVR 190.
Potatoes, earlier priced at MVR 14 per kilogram, is now available for MVR 12. A sack of potatoes now can be bought for MVR 160, while it's earlier price was MVR 300.
STO said that these changes have been brought to offer goods at low prices to the public during Ramadan.
STO assured that they will work to maintain the prices of other varieties as well.
