DhiraaguPay has introduced a donation option to help increase social assistance for those in need during the month of Ramadan.
Customers can donate meal packs or financial aid to families in need through DhiraaguPay.
The meal pack donation drive is conducted in collaboration with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives. Under this, iftar meal packs will be provided for migrant workers near mosques in the Male' area.
To kickstart the initiative, Dhiraagu donated 1000 meal packs to the organization. Customers can donate a meal pack through DhiraaguPay for just MVR 60.
In addition to this, Dhiraagu has also gifted care baskets for 100 families in need through Moms Aid. The care baskets are meant for single mothers and families taking care of children with disabilities.
The care basket consists of essential food items generally needed in Ramadan.
Dhiraagu customers can contribute towards this initiative as well. Customers can donate a care basket for MVR 1,200 or contribute any amount as financial assistance.
Customers can easily send in donations through selecting 'Featured Service' in their DhiraaguPay application. The donations will go directly to the organization's account.
Dhiraagu said that the aim of these initiatives is to facilitate easy provision of assistance to families in need and to foster a caring community.
