Bank of Maldives has introduced a more convenient process of booking dollars for those travelling abroad for medical purposes.
Now, customers can book dollars for medicals directly through the BML Mobile Banking App.
BML said that customers can apply for dollars for medicals, submit the required documents, and track the status of the application on their Mobile Banking App.
Patients receiving Aasandha and NSPA coverage for medical treatment abroad are eligible to obtain up to USD 2000, while those self-financing medical treatments abroad are eligible to obtain up to USD 1000, the bank announced.
Under this, dollars will be credited to the customers' USD accounts. USD accounts can also be opened through the Mobile Banking App.
