National Integrity Commission seeks office space

The Ministry of Finance has announced a bidding process to secure office premises for the National Integrity Commission (NIC).

According to the ministry, the commission is seeking to lease office space for a period of five years. The opportunity has been opened under the National Competitive Bidding Regulation.

A non-refundable fee of MVR 500 is required to participate in the bid. Bid security has been set at MVR 67,500.

Interested parties must submit proposals through the government’s bid portal by 10:00 am on the 4th of next month. The deadline to register for the bid is March 2.

The NIC is currently housed on the fourth floor of the Sea Tracks Building.

The commission was established to strengthen oversight of law enforcement agencies in the Maldives. It is mandated to set rules and procedures governing such agencies, their employees and related cases, and is empowered to investigate and take action where necessary.
