Dhiraagu has signed on as a Platinum Partner for this year’s Hotelier Maldives Awards and GM Forum, renewing its partnership with the tourism industry platform for a second consecutive year.
The agreement reflects Dhiraagu’s continued commitment to supporting tourism, one of the main pillars of the Maldivian economy.
One of the key objectives of the partnership is to recognize and celebrate the talent and dedication of employees in the tourism sector, while also creating space for meaningful dialogue among industry leaders.
Hotelier Maldives Awards, now in their third edition, recognize outstanding individuals and teams working across the country’s tourism industry. It is the only national awards programme dedicated to honoring individual professionals and teams in the sector.
The awards are held alongside the GM Forum, which marks its 12th edition this year. The forum is one of the country’s leading gatherings for resort general managers and tourism executives.
The event provides a platform to discuss emerging trends in the tourism sector, management challenges, leadership development and the future direction of tourism in the Maldives.
Dhiraagu’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Riyaz, said the growth of the tourism industry depends on the employees who drive it forward.
“Our continued partnership with Hotelier Maldives reflects our commitment to supporting the people behind the industry and promoting sustainable tourism development in the Maldives,” he said.
Hotelier Maldives Editor Ali Nafiz thanked Dhiraagu for renewing its partnership and continued support.
Dhiraagu has been supporting a range of initiatives aimed at developing key sectors of the economy.
