Under MIANZ College’s "Gaumattakaa" program, it has been decided to carry out significant activities beneficial to the community. These include gifting 10,000 trees, providing 1,000 trees to assist in income-generating work, and providing support to 100 newly started businesses.

Additionally, it is arranged to train 1,500 graduates capable for the job market and to provide 'seed funding' or the financial assistance required to start a business for 20 entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.

The college stated that the main objective of these activities is to facilitate sustainable income-generating opportunities across the Maldives, promote self-employment, and build a capable generation prepared for the working environment.

MIANZ College has previously introduced scholarships under the "Gaumattakaa" program. The college describes this as an important step taken to develop human resources at the island level.

Furthermore, under this program, students graduating in the field of agriculture from the "MIANZ School of Agriculture" have been provided with opportunities for trips abroad to gain new agricultural experiences, in addition to assistance in starting businesses. The college said this demonstrates its support for ensuring food security and innovations in the agricultural sector.

MIANZ College reaffirms its priority on maintaining the quality of higher education while fulfilling its social responsibility.
