A brand new Carnival-class cruise liner, Queen Anne, will arrive in the Maldives next Saturday, the Maldives Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA) has announced.
The vessel is expected to bring approximately 2,600 tourists to the country. MAYA said it is working in collaboration with the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) to welcome the passengers.

According to MAYA, this will be one of the largest cruise liners to call at the Maldives this year. The ship has a total passenger capacity of around 3,000.
Operated by Cunard Line, Queen Anne is currently sailing towards Mauritius and will proceed to the Maldives thereafter. The cruise liner measures 322 metres in length and has 13 decks.

The ship is staffed by about 1,200 crew members and features 11 restaurants offering a wide range of international cuisines, including Mediterranean, Japanese and Italian.
Queen Anne was launched in 2024 and has since been operating voyages around the world.
