Each month of the calendar has been dedicated to the famous dish of the related island. The calendar includes a photo and information of the dish, with recipe videos being introduced by MIB in order to revive the culture of dishes. The videos can be watched by scanning the QR codes on the calendar.

The calendar includes delicacies such as HA. Utheemu's sea almond sweets (Kanamadhu metaa), HDh. Kulhudhuffushi's thin crepes (Haalu Folhi), B. Eydhafushi's rice porridge (Baiypen) and Addu's sweet coconut candy roll (Addu Bondi).

MIB stated that this calendar is meant to bring important parts of Maldivian culture to future generations, revive Maldivian identity and participate in the revival of Maldivian culture. MIB also said that this will empower people from all over Maldives in preparing popular dishes.
