MIB launches Ramadan promotion with Azerbaijan trip as grand prize

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched a special promotion for the upcoming month of Ramadan, offering a grand prize of a trip to Azerbaijan. 

The promotion is set to run until March 28, 2026, and is open to customers who make payments using MIB cards, Faisaware tags, or Faisaware rings via MIB Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals or the Global Pay platform.

In addition to the grand prize of a trip to Azerbaijan, the promotion features weekly rewards where 10 lucky winners will receive cashback. 

To be eligible for the weekly cashback draw, customers must have a minimum of five transactions per week. MIB has confirmed that this promotion is open to its customers living across all regions of the Maldives.

MIB conducts various promotions tailored for Ramadan each year to reward customer loyalty. 

Currently, the bank has expanded its reach by installing over 1,600 POS machines in various islands across the country, while MIB Global Pay is accepted by numerous major businesses. 

The bank also highlighted its digital accessibility, with accounts that can be opened instantly from anywhere in the world via the "ApplyNow" portal, and instant cards can be obtained immediately at any MIB branch.
