President meets with senior representatives of dock workers

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with senior representatives of customs clearance service providers today.

As per the President's Office, the meeting allowed them to discuss the difficulties faced by the companies when moving goods from the Male' Commercial Harbor.

The President's Office stated that they had shared the times they move goods, the resources they have and how the system can be strengthened to the President.

The President's Office also stated that the President had assured the senior representatives that he would work to find solutions to the difficulties that had been shared with him.

President Muizzu is conducting a series of meetings with various industry workers separately in order to listen to the concerns industry workers hold.

The President has also held a meeting with SMEs in order to listen to their concerns last month. He has also met with the public from all areas of Male' to listen to their concerns.
