Villa College, Atmosphere Foundation scholarship opens

The application window for the engineering scholarship announced by Villa College and Atmosphere Foundation (AF) has opened.

The opportunity is being presented to those who are financially constrained, with Villa College stating they are working together with AF to build up skilled individuals in the engineering industry.

Named the Engineering Sponsorship Scheme, the scholarship will provide complete financial aid for the students in the form of course fees and other miscellaneous course expenses. A total of three students will get three scholarships from Villa College for the January intake. This includes two scholarships in Foundation in Engineering and one scholarship in Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

Only Maldivians can apply for the scholarship. Those who apply for the two courses included in the scheme also need to meet the necessary requirements. Those who apply should not be studying at a higher education center.

Those who apply for the scholarship need to show their household income and expenses in order to prove they require financial assistance. They also need to prove they are interested in moving forward in the engineering industry.
