First cruise ship of the year saw 479 tourists to Maldives

As per a post on X by Immigration, the MS Crystal Symphony brought in 479 passengers, along with 491 crew members. Immigration's Seaport Division officers gave them "enroute clearance" to travel through Maldives.

Immigration stated today that the first cruise ship of the year has docked at the harbor and that it brought 479 passengers.

As per a post on X by Immigration, the MS Crystal Symphony brought in 479 passengers, along with 491 crew members. Immigration's Seaport Division officers gave them "enroute clearance" to travel through Maldives.

The MS Crystal Symphony sailed to Maldives from Mahé, Seychelles.

The MS Crystal Symphony sports a length of 238 meters (781 feet) and is registered to the Bahamas. The ship has the capacity to serve 575 crew members and 606 passengers simultaneously.

In its ongoing voyage through the Indian Ocean from the beginning of January until some time in February, the ship initially embarked on its journey from South Africa's Port Elizabeth to Kenya's Port of Mombasa. Afterwards, it sailed to Mumbai, India and Mahé, Seychelles, with it subsequently sailing to Maldives.
