Dhiraagu 5G service wins three Ookla Awards

Dhiraagu has been awarded the “Fastest 5G Network”, “Best 5G Network”, and “Best 5G Gaming Experience” by Ookla Speed test.

The company said that the awards reflect its commitment in Q1 and Q2 to providing world-class connectivity and building a digital Maldives. Dhiraagu was the first service provider in South Asia to launch 5G services in 2019,.

Dhiraagu's 5G network covers 73 percent of the Maldivian population.

Ookla, a global leader in connectivity intelligence, uses data from platforms such as Speedtest, Down Detector, Ekahau, and RootMetrics to assess network performance and provide actionable insights.

Dhiraagu has now won the Maldives Fastest Mobile Network award three years in a row and the Fastest 5G Network award for two consecutive years.
