Send New Year’s greetings on Viber with special animation

Starting tonight at midnight, New Year’s greetings will be among the most commonly received messages. To make this year’s greetings extra special, Dhiraagu has teamed up with Viber to introduce a unique animation for New Year messages.

The animation will be visible to every Viber user in the Maldives who has registered their account with a local mobile number. It will appear when keywords like “Happy New Year,” “New Year,” or “2026” are used. When activated, the words “Happy New Year 2026” will appear in orange on the user’s screen. The animation will also appear when someone clicks on a greeting message sent by another user.

This is the first such animation released by a Maldivian company in collaboration with Viber. Dhiraagu noted that Viber is widely used in the Maldives, with many family and office groups, and said the animation was introduced to make New Year greetings more festive.

The animation can be activated through the Dhiraagu app, as the company aims to make the start of 2026 a joyful and memorable occasion for its customers.
