Villa College's Online Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Program has ranked on QS Online MBA Rankings 2026, one of the world's most trusted ranking platforms.
This is the first time a program from a Maldivian education institution has ranked on the QS World Subject Rankings. Online MBAs from world famous business schools are included in the rankings which have online MBA programs from universities across 27 nations. Villa College has been rated within the world's top 150 online MBAs in the rankings.
Villa College has, under the "Class Experience" framework that acknowledges learning experiences, been ranked first in the world within the Asia Pacific region. Villa College stated that this shows the importance they put on to provide online students complete assistance and an easy environment to learn.
The ranking looks at modern technological assistance, live classes, arrangements made for easy access to all resources provided by the course and the level of facilitation regarding opportunities to meet and discuss with lecturers.
Along with that, Villa College's MBA program has ranked 12th within the Asia Pacific region in the "Faculty and Teaching" and "Employability" categories. The classification for this category includes the opportunity to study under the instruction of quality lecturers and the ratio of students to lecturers. Additionally, the amount of trust gained from employment sources due to Villa College students, the capabilities of graduates and how prepared they are for the working environment was also looked at.
Villa College's MBA program was designed to accommodate those who are employed. Villa College also highlights that students study in an inclusive system within this program that provides both online and physical classes.
Villa College is the first higher education institute in Maldives that has ranked on QS's rating. Villa College has attained five stars in Online Learning, Environmental Impact and Employability. The college has also participated in the "Impact Rankings 2025" from "Times Higher Education", along with their important role in achieving the UN's sustainable development goals having been proven.
The college has also attained above average points in the world in all the goals they aimed for. Villa College is also included in 25 percent of the world's best institutions within the STG 4, STG 5, STG 16 and STG 17 goals.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is a global framework that evaluates institutions based upon the UN's sustainable development goals that universities play their role in achieving.
