Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially launched the Visa Infinite Credit
Card in the Maldives today. This card is recognized globally as one of the
premier products in digital payments.
The highest-tier Visa credit card was introduced at a special ceremony held
today to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the long-standing partnership
between BML and Visa. The card was officially inaugurated by the Minister of
Finance, Moosa Zameer.
BML has stated that the Visa Infinite card will be available to customers
who have a minimum monthly income of MVR 127,000.
The launch of the Visa Infinite card, which is the first metal card to be
introduced in the Maldives by BML, marks a significant milestone in the bank's
efforts to bring the most innovative and high-quality products to the country.
Holders of the Visa Infinite card are entitled to a wide
range of exclusive privileges and benefits, including VIP status at luxury hotels and enhanced, smooth
services at international airports. This includes benefits such as fast-track
immigration, personalized "meet and assist" services, and access to
over 2,000 premium lounges worldwide.

- Leisure & Wellness: Complimentary golf access, premium spa services, and elite club memberships.
- Digital: Premium subscription services for entertainment, food delivery, and advanced AI applications.

Avanthi Colambage, Visa's Country Manager for the Maldives and Sri Lanka,
stated that the card offers unique benefits, international privileges, and
distinctive experiences unavailable with other cards. She added that the
introduction of this premium digital experience sets a new benchmark and
reflects the increasing demand among Maldivian customers for exclusive luxury
services.
Mohamed Shareef, BML's CEO and Managing Director,
emphasized that the new Visa card highlights the bank's commitment to
introducing world-class payment solutions to the Maldivian community, providing
customers with access to a wealth of luxury services.

BML's partnership with Visa began in 2002 with
the initial issuance of Visa cards in the Maldives. Last year, BML also
introduced the Maldives' first Shariah-compliant Visa Credit Card.
