Chinese company to repair certain Hulhumale' roads

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has awarded the project of repairing roads in Hulhumale' Phase 1 and 2 to Chinese company Rotime Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd.

The agreement states that roads totaling 1.1 kilometers are to be repaired within five to six months.

Managing Director Ali Zuhair signed on behalf of HDC, with Managing Director Zhou Weidong signing on behalf of Rotime.

The project will see roads in Hulhumale' Phase 1 that need repair, with roads coming up to Vinares Flats to be repaired as well. This project will mainly include asphalt roads that have cracked. Hulhumale' Phase 1's Fithuroanu Magu and connected roads that have cracks will also be included.

Additionally, the roads near Apollo Tower, Fithuroanu, One Avenue and Aira Residence, the road in front of One Central, the road near Tree Top Park and the road near The Gardens Residence will also be included.

The project will begin at Hulhumale' Phase 1 and end at Phase 2.
