Dhiraagu customers can call for free to Sri Lanka for one week

In response to the severe flooding currently affecting Sri Lanka, a country where a large number of Maldivians reside and travel to for various purposes, Dhiraagu today introduced a free add-on allowing customers to make calls to Sri Lanka for a period of one week.

By activating this add-on, customers can call Sri Lanka for free for one week. The add-on can be activated by dialing *225# till tomorrow, Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Dhiraagu stated that activating the add-on will provide 30 minutes of free calling daily.

The Cyclone Ditwah, which formed in the Bay of Bengal, has caused widespread flooding in Sri Lanka, resulting in multiple deaths and significant damage to many families.

Dhiraagu said that during this difficult time, the company is working to provide an easy means for people to connect with Maldivians residing in Sri Lanka.
