Ooredoo offers 24hrs free calls to storm-affected Sri Lanka

Ooredoo said that calls to Sri Lankan numbers in the next 24 hours will be free of charge for the first five minutes. Ooredoo said that the offer is aimed at facilitating calls to friends and family in Sri Lanka at this time to check on their safety and wellbeing. 

As many Maldivians reside in Sri Lanka, Ooredoo believes it is important at this time to facilitate easy communication with those residing there. The company said that they aim to provide assistance to the community in this difficult time.
