Bank of Maldives has been awarded the 'Outstanding Achievement of the Year in Financial Inclusion' award from Qorus at the Reinvent Forum Dubai 2025.

Qorus is a prestigious global initiative that honours top performers in the global financial sector, and is backed by 1,200 financial institutions in over 120 countries.

The bank was honoured for its significant role in improving financial inclusion nationwide through its 'Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM' initiative, which reached completion on October 28, 2025.

This initiative saw self-serving banking units being established in all inhabited islands. In a period of nine months, ATM services were introduced in 105 islands, greatly enhancing financial accessibility for Maldivians across the country.
