Dhiraagu has been awarded the "Great Place to Work"
Certification.
The "Great Place to Work Certification" is a
globally recognized standard granted to companies that meet criteria based on the
quality of their employee experience.
This certification is based on
information gathered from employees through the "Trust Index Survey."
The survey assesses employees' trust and respect for the company, their
level of pride in the company, and their overall experience within the
organization.
This certification has been achieved by only a few
companies in the Maldives. Furthermore, only a handful of telecommunication
companies in the Asia region have attained this certification.
During a celebration held for Dhiraagu employees to mark
this achievement, Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed stated that
achieving the "Great Place to Work" Certification is a great source
of pride for Dhiraagu.
He added that it confirms the company provides a
positive environment for employees and demonstrates that their commitment to
listening to employees and focusing on their development is internationally
recognized.
"This symbolizes the importance Dhiraagu places
on empowering employees to provide the best services to our customers and
community. This certification proves that Dhiraagu is not only a company
leading the technology sector but is also at the forefront of human capital
development," he said.
Azha Zameer, Dhiraagu's Human Resources Director, also
speaking at the event, stated that the certification is an accomplishment
earned through the collective effort of everyone in the company. She emphasized
that Dhiraagu is a company that promotes excellence in work and prioritizes
employee well-being.
"Achieving this success is a great honor for
us. Our goal is to continue working together, inclusively, to remain a company
that provides more opportunities for employee growth in the future," she
stated.
Dhiraagu conducts special programs focused on employee
development and psychological well-being, and provides various benefits to its
employees. With 99.9 percent of its employees being Maldivian, the company
emphasizes the advancement of Maldivians in the workplace, fostering an
environment that supports leadership development and work-life balance.
