The world's first premium leisure airline "beOnd" has said that they are working to add four new destinations to their list next year.

The airline said they are currently working to acquire permission from Maldives' Civil Aviation Authority to fly to new destinations. They are also working to acquire permission for other destinations such as China, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, India, France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

The airline said that their aim is to get permission to fly to four destinations from the aforementioned within next year.

The airline has also said that within the next 10 years, they will work to increase the fleet by an additional 22 planes, expand airline operations and to begin flights to more than 30 destinations. They also said that the four destinations they get permission for next year will also be included.

As was said by beOnd, their 10-year target includes airline operation expansion, which is the connection of Maldives to various countries and to find opportunities for Maldives as a primary hub through the airlines premium leisure model.

The airline has also said that their strategy is to offer a premium experience to high-value passengers who want to travel to developed cities across the world.

The airline beOnd connects Maldives to the Middle East and to Europe. The airline has also acquired Maldives' Air Operator Certificate (AOC). The aim of the airline is to obtain the AOC from various regions in the world.

CEO of beOnd Tero Taskila said that they aim to offer their services to various corners of the globe.

"Getting more aircrafts, investing in new markets and establishing new partnerships will facilitate the arrival of premium tourists to Maldives. We want to change the way tourists travel to Maldives in a way that benefits Maldivian tourism for years to come," said Taskila.

The airline has said that their operations in Maldives began in 2023, majorly changing the way passengers fly to Maldives. Their flights only have business class seats that can recline all the way back horizontally, allowing tourists to fly to Maldives in a relaxed manner. The airline has an Airbus A319 aircraft and an A321 aircraft.

The airline has flights to destinations such as Maldives, Zurich, Munich, Milan, Riyadh and Dubai. "beOnd" was introduced by SIMDI Group in conjunction with Dubai-based Arabesque FZCO.
