Finance Minister Moosa Zameer said yesterday that results are being seen in the government's efforts within their first two years in office, where they were tirelessly doing steady and responsible work in bringing Maldives out of its financial strains. He also said that their aim for the future is to build and maintain a resilient economy.

Upon the current government's term reaching two years, Zameer posted on social media stating that economic progress is being made due to the steady steps they took with determination through financial difficulties.

The Finance Ministry has been constantly working to reduce government expenditure, bring fiscal stability to the nation and has been providing assistance in making the government's development agenda a reality, said Minister Zameer.

The Finance Minister described the hard work of the last 40 weeks, covering the maintenance of a rising budget, state pay harmonization and expediting urban projects across Maldives as the achievements of said hard work.

"The aim we have for the future is very clear. Building a resilient economy," said the minister.

Minister Zameer gave his assurance that they will prove to maintain their workflow.
