Application for Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program now open

Dhiraagu has opened the application process for their Apprenticeship Program.

The program falls under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, with it being Maldives' first corporate apprenticeship program for the youth.

The main purpose of the program is for the youth to build awareness in a corporate environment. The program will also train applicants and give them the opportunity to build experience in a working environment.

Under the program, applicants have the opportunity to gain work experience and training while earning a salary in various areas such as Dhiraagu's administration, marketing, sales, procurement, corporate services, finance, Human Resources and technology.

The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is aimed at individuals aged between 18 to 30 years old. Those who have completed their A-levels and have not been hired can also apply for the program. The program will be held in Dhiraagu's operation centers in Male', Addu City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Laamu Atoll, Gaafu Alifu Atoll and Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

Applicants will be trained by various department employees in developing their soft skills, time management and project handling, with applicants receiving important information on the work environment.

Dhiraagu's Apprenticeship Program started in 2009. A total of 288 individuals have taken part in the program as of now. Dhiraagu has said that previous applicants of the program who had finished are now employed at various associations.
