Vara Expo starts with BML support

The Vara Expo 2025 (National Skills and Career Expo) has opened yesterday at Central Park, Hulhumale'. 

The expo is organized by Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, and will be held over the weekend, set to close at 10pm, Saturday, November 8. 

Bank of Maldives (BML) said that the objective of the expo is to present employment and educational opportunities at a single platform, and empower the youth.

BML is the main sponsor of the expo this year. The bank has also set up a stall where through interactive activities they will share information on internship programs, scholarship opportunities, and industrial placements. 

The bank further said that their experts will be at the expo to offer guidance and coaching for job seekers. 

Last year's Vara Expo saw over 10,000 visitors.
