SDFC facility payments possible through BML application

Arrangements have been made where SDFC loans can now be paid through BML's mobile application after connecting SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) facilities to the application.

SDFC has begun the integration through various stages, where SDFC customers can now easily check loan information and make their payments through the BML applications BillPAY feature. SDFC has stated that with this service, businesses can now conduct easy and safe financial transactions.

The service will be available by logging in to the individuals own BML Mobile application. The Account tab will contain details regarding the facility, the amount left to pay and monthly payment details.

SDFC CEO Badhurudheen Hassan spoke regarding the integration, stating the integration is the most important step they have taken in digitalizing the services they provide to SMEs.

He also said that once the facilities are linked to the BML Mobile application, customers will have an easier time making use of the services, along with a decrease in manual bank transfers for facility payments. He went on to say that customers will also receive updates on real-time payments, with services being expedited as well.
