BML launches Visa Platinum Debit Card

Bank of Maldives (BML) has today unveiled the new Visa Platinum Debit Card, which is linked to USD accounts. 

The Visa Platinum Debit Card offers benefits such as a doubled daily cash withdrawal limit of USD 3,200 via BML ATMs, a higher daily foreign spending limit of USD 5,000, and access to Visa's international offers. 

The Visa Platinum Debit Card was unveiled by Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed at a ceremony held at Barcelo Nasandhura this morning. 

“The launch of our new Visa Platinum Debit card provides customers with a convenient and secure way to access their USD accounts while enjoying the platinum tier experience," BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef said.

"With this new card, we aim to provide enhanced international banking experience and reflecting our continued commitment to improve the banking experience for our customers.”

Customers can now apply for the Visa Platinum Debit Card through BML internet or mobile banking. 

In addition to this, BML also introduced Swipe - a digital multi-currency wallet at today's ceremony.
